Goddess Work Pole Studio offers Beginner through to Advanced pole dance courses ranging from 4 to 8 weeks. Classes have a maximum of 9 students per class, ensuring dedicated and personalised instruction.
Beginner
(8 week course, $220)
So, you have decided you want to explore pole dancing…
This weekly 60 minute class is perfect for those who are completely new to pole, those who have completed a taster class, or students who have some prior pole experience but are not ready to invert on the pole.
You will learn beginner level spins, holds, transitions, moves and even climbing the pole. Towards the end of the term, you will also begin learning to invert.
Intermediate PREP
(8 week course, $220)
You’re hooked and you can’t wait to explore more moves…
INTERMEDIATE PREP is for those who have just graduated from beginner, or those who are still relatively new to inverting. This class is also great for those who have had a break in their pole journey and need a refresher. You will work on climbing, combination spins, holds and laybacks and inverting and leg hangs. In a safe and inclusive environment.
Intermediate 1 & 2
(8 week course, $220)
So, you are obsessed and you cannot stop…
‘Intermediate’ level encompasses a wide variety of pole moves. For this reason, we have divided our intermediate classes into levels.
This class is for those who have completed a few terms of Intermediate Prep and or can confidently invert, climb and are secure in leg hangs and reverse grabs. You will learn more advanced intermediate level spins, holds and combinations, as well as aerial side climbs
INTERMEDIATE 1: You will learn leg switches and more.
INTERMEDIATE 2: You are expected to know how to climb, side climb, invert, do leg switches, reverse grabs, and genie. In this class, you will learn how to Ayesha's, shoulder mounts, more complex combinations, superman aerial inverts and more.
Plus strength training and conditioning specifically designed to aid in your pole progression
INTERMEDIATE 2 & Advanced
(8 week course, $275)
So, now you are hopelessly devoted… to pole dancing.
This weekly Sunday morning, 75 minute class is perfect for those who are able to aerial invert, shoulder mount, hold an 'ayesha', and exit each move safely.
INTERMEDIATE 2 Prerequisites- You MUST be able to invert confidently on both sides. Must have leg hangs, and switches, reverse grabs, can confidently side climb and basic climb, and are ready to focus on strength and flexibility based move and longer complex combinations.
ADVANCED Prerequisites: You MUST be able to aerial invert and shoulder mount confidently on both sides, hold an Ayesha and you MUST be proficient in all Intermediate 2 prerequisites! This is a mixed class for high Intermediate 2 and advanced students only!
The extra time added to this class is to allow for an adequate warm-up, cool-down and stretching sequence, as students will be working on more advanced moves and combinations to build stamina and endurance.
Low FLOW
(8 week course, $220)
Low Flow is all about floor and base work! Understanding floor work and the ability to expand your dance skills.
In this beginner-friendly class, you will learn how to utilise the pole with floor work, low pole and base work to compliment any routine, or just to make you feel amazing in your own skin!
You will learn how to safely transition from the pole to floor and how to work those muscles and safely learn those little tricks and dynamic movements.
With a new mini routine every week you will learn a broad amount of dance styles from sleek and sexy, dynamic and powerful to smooth and graceful.
* If you wish to wear heels to this class you are welcome, otherwise this will be taught on bare feet - Knee pads are highly recommended. And are available to purchase from the studio.
LyRICAL POLE
(8 week course, $220)
Lyrical pole class will focus around contemporary, lyrical and neo dance styles.
With no shoes, there is no worries and endless choreography options! Contemporary dance is a style of dance that embraces innovation, blending techniques from genres, including ballet, jazz, and modern. This class will utilise low base pole work with a heavy focus on floor work, giving you an extra edge to add to your pole routine or a change to your everyday training.
This class is suitable for Beginners-Advanced.
POWER PLAY
(8 week course, $220)
Power Play is a "Classique” style a Pole Course on Spinning Pole.
The style is mostly inspired from Australia (Aussie style) and it is captivating and sensual. We dance with pole dance stilettos in this class, but it’s no problem to take part in bare feet. During the whole pole dance class, the focus will be on you "feeling your power" and finding your own flavour when moving to the music and learning some “classique” pole tricks and movements in our safe and inclusive studio.
Power Play is designed for absolute beginners, as the dancing is the focus. However, you would get so much out of this course as someone who has done Beginner through to Intermediate One.
Pole Conditioning
In this weekly, 45-minute class. Get an all over body workout as we focus on building the understanding and strength needed to master tricks across all levels of pole!
This conditioning class uses on and off the pole drills specifically designed to mimic the mechanics and techniques required for troublesome tricks and transitions. Open to all levels of pole, you will definitely get a workout, no matter what level you're at!
This class is suitable for ANY fitness level, and there is no prior dance or pole experience required.
Cancellation Policy: Courses
We do not provide refunds, change of mind or unable to attend your lesson due to changes in personal circumstances, work commitments or other reasons beyond your control.
50% of the course total (your deposit) is non-refundable.
Any cancelations of the course must be made no later than 5 days prior to the start of any course to receive a partial refund of the total course fee paid.
